Fish and Chips

Fish and Chips are Britain’s food staple as rice is to Filipinos. It is basically deep fried cod in batter, green peas and chips (or french fries to Filipinos). This particular dish used to be a heavy favorite among the British working class. Today, Fish and Chips is a popular take-away food and can be found in the menu of most restaurants in London, and in the entire country as well.
I had ordered mine from a restaurant inside BHS department store in Edenwalk Shopping Centre in Kingston, a town southwest of London. It cost me around ₤5.50 per serving.
