Take Your Vows At Chez Amis
It was basically a biz trip that made me visit Batangas City few weeks ago. I was with a friend who does consultancy in one of the biggest cooperatives in the area. We left Manila on board a bus called Alps and arrived in Batangas City just before noon. Her client picked us up at the terminal near a newly-opened Star Toll.

I was basically there to listen and spot an opportunity where I can put my talent, whatever that is, to good use. Sometimes, everything about me depends on the weather.

After lunch in Dampa, we went to visit their events venue right across Batangas City Provincial Capitol where Ate Vi holds her office as the elected governor. The place is called Chez Amis, a french word that means “where friends stay” or something like it. It used to be an grassland. They have converted it into a real nice place where the Batanguenos hold their special occasions from birthdays, debuts to weddings.
Below this bridge is a small creek you can fill with ducks…or whatever that suits you.
